• The Nissan LPIE at Chulalongkong University, Thailand
  They focus the medical tourism. In some Asian countries, number patients will move to receive medical care in other countries, regardless of their health insurance coverage.
• July 19, 2008: Opening session and the 1st intensive program in 2008.
  The Nissan LPIE 2008 began at the Nissan Management Institute (Hakone).
  
  Dr. Sawako Takeuchi, Program Director, made an opening speech on "the LPIE educational methods for leadership", followed by two special lectures "Next generation technologies and new industries" and "From individual project findings to total solution with actions."
• Feb. 09, 2008: Global session 2008
  The 1st global session was held by connecting three locations: the World Bank Tokyo Development Learning Center and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). MIT Professor Richard K. Lester, gave his suggestions to three groups.
